• Renee Maphie

    International Project Coordinator

    Renee serves as PECO’s International Project Coordinator. Renee serves her time in both Tanzania and the USA. She earned a Bachelor of Education in 2017 and has since been raising the youngest of our community— from preschool to grade 5. She is motivated when given any opportunity to educate and learn in international community settings. Renee dedicates her free time serving alongside different NGOs, living out her passion projects of— birth work, community development, and reaching unreached Gospel communities. She is a great asset to have on the PECO team.

  • Gidion Gabriel

    Co-founder, Program Director

    Gidion Gabriel is a pillar of PECO, serving as a Co-founder and Program Director. Gidion developed an early attitude of serving the community from being raised in a single-family home. Knowledge of the demands and needs of the community around him have been engraved on his heart. He has always had a passion to learn more about how to serve his community with the greatest impact. In 2019 Gidion earned a Bachelor of Education in educational management. Gidion currently manages a farming project, where a percentage of the farming products supports the community outreach demands. Leading him to join his colleague, Lazer, in founding PECO, Gidion has been working in a social work capacity to enhance the welfare of special groups— including elders and widows.

  • Lazer Joseph

    Co-founder, Project Facilitator

    Lazer Joseph is a pillar of PECO, serving as a Co-founder and Project Facilitator. Lazer is fueled by his commitment to making a positive impact in special social communities. Lazer finished his university career in 2018 and has since been dedicating his time diving into community development work and research. He started by volunteering for local initiatives, addressing homelessness and poverty. Inspired by the communities he served and the exposure of community needs, Lazer helped to develop PECO. He now dedicates his career to fostering sustainable change within the elderly society.
